Kaihere School is a rural school of approximately 45-55 students located on Highway 27 overlooking the Hauraki Plains. The school acts as a central point for the predominantly dairy farming communities of Kaihere and Patetonga. The school features strong community support and welcomes its responsibility to act as a meeting point for many of its families both at whole school community events and on a day to day basis. The school has an active and effective Home and School organisation that are involved in the life of the school; supporting the direction of the school through its strategic planning. The school prides itself on a family atmosphere and family values where students and staff are encouraged to care for one another. Kaihere School has a reputation as a caring family school with consistently high achievement.
